Vectron Finishing Solutions...

At Vectron Deburring, our Black Oxide conversion coating delivers a sleek, thin magnetite finish that enhances corrosion resistance, improves wear characteristics, and darkens appearance, without affecting part dimensions. Ideal for ferrous and some non-ferrous components, this chemical process forms a dense, porous layer that retains oils and lubricants, reducing surface friction and preventing hydrogen embrittlement.

Complementing this, our Zinc Phosphate coating adds a crystalline phosphate layer that offers exceptional corrosion protection and superb paint or powder coat adhesion. Its micro-textured surface retains oil and acts as a base layer, promoting long-term durability, especially for high-stress and painted parts. Both coatings leverage controlled rack or barrel immersion methods to ensure even coverage, making them highly repeatable and scalable for batch or custom runs.

Our Magnesium Phosphate coating provides a robust, crystalline surface ideal for wear resistance and friction reduction in high-load applications. Frequently used on moving assemblies like gears or firearm components, it supports excellent oil retention and forms a strong bond to base metals. This coating is particularly beneficial where anti-galling properties and thermal stability are required.

Additionally, our Passivation services are designed to remove surface contaminants and enhance the corrosion resistance of stainless steel and other alloys without adding material buildup. By chemically treating the metal surface, passivation creates a uniform, inert oxide layer that protects against rust and environmental wear. This process meets ASTM and industry standards and is essential for medical, aerospace, and food-grade components.
